Leading and co-ordinating the direction, development and production of BGS publications and resources in both digital and print format. In print: - Responsibility for commissioning, producing, editing and designing the bi-monthly membership magazine Agenda both in print and online. - In 2021, lead on a redesign, relaunch and rebrand to transform the Society's newsletter into a lively, themed and engaging membership magazine, Agenda. - Designing and producing reports, publications and other creative communications to further the BGS's charitable mission and message. Online: - Editing, reviewing and maintaining the BGS website and managing the Society's web presence. - Guiding the development of new content and resources as well as their online accessibility and usability, monitoring and reporting on their impact. - Helping to ensure that the Society's strategic objectives in terms of its digital output and integration are met. - Working closely with web developers to ensure the seamless functioning of the website, the implementation of new features, and troubleshooting technical issues.
