Amy brought boundless energy and enthusiasm to her role as annual fund director at our alma mater, Augustana University. She genuinely cares for her teammates and her donors as people with common goals, and she works to give people the tools to make those goals a reality. During her tenure, Amy grew the annual fund, created the university's first Day of Giving, led AU's first crowdfunding efforts and more. I especially appreciated how she helped to streamline annual fund communications by targeting our audiences and our messages. As a result, we sent fewer emails, but more people opened them and gave a gift than in previous years. Snap up this savvy fundraiser now!

There is a critical need in our community to provide high quality preschool to kids in Sioux Falls who need a hand up so they can enter kindergarten ready to learn and succeed. The Sioux Falls Hope Coalition focuses on narrowing the achievement gap in our community through one simple strategy: Ensuring that every child gets a chance to attend preschool. The Hope Coalition seeks to place children, regardless of the family's ability to pay, into existing high quality preschool programs. In the role of Executive Director I oversee and play an integral role in the organization operation including, but not limited to, program expansion and growth, budget development, fiscal management, personnel management, fundraising & donor relations, public speaking, marketing & media relations, database management, digital media, grant writing, event planning and execution.
