I worked with Alaa in the WiMedia Alliance, creating new standards for UWB wireless. Alaa could always be counted on to propose creative and innovative approaches. He paid attention to details, was willing to listen and learn about to alternative proposals, and worked towards compromise in times of conflict. He was a pleasure to work with and I would be happy to have him on my team!

I worked directly with Alaa for a couple years on the UWB project. He is excellent to work with and have on a team. He was able to communicate specifications precisely and completely in both written and verbal form. His designs were clean, elegant, and implementable. As someone who had to physically produce his designs this was much appreciated. I wholeheartedly recommend Alaa and hope to be able to work with him in the future.
