      was given the opportunity to come to the Theft Department – advisor going on maternity leave from end November 2013 till March 2014CLAIMS REGISTERED, Attempted Theft/Hijack Claims – Take down full event description of the incident, Make sure I am speaking to the correct person. Basic validations, ITC, IDS , DL , EXPERIAN, HPI , UNICODE.  If vehicle not driveable – arrange towing for the client taking it to the nearest Miway Yard or Miway Approved panel beater.  Appoint assessor and update the client when the report is in.  If client has car hire, will arrange for the client.  Cost the claim  Before the claim gets finalised - will check the claim and do a summary report.  Team Manger will check the claim – inform client and authorise claim.Theft/ Hijack Claims Recovered  Take down full event description of the incident, Make sure I am speaking to the correct person. Basic validation - ITC ,IDS , DL , EXPERIAN, HPI and UNICODE  Arrange car hire if on the policy If vehicle is in the pound – will arrange with the salvage assessor to uplift the vehicle from the pound and take it to the Miway yard or panel beater.  If vehicle has a tracking device – will email provider for a activation report.  Will get approval from the salvage assessor and appoint an assessor to assess the vehicle. While on the floor l have learnt many other claims related queries.CLAIMS I HAVE REGISTERED  Glass  Break in vehicles Amendments to claims if required  Cell phone claims – later on taken out  Warranty claims ,  Captured driveable claims – appointing the assessors to the claim - not being the advisor on the claim  Driveable claim being the handler for 4 claims – captured, appointed assessor, validated, authorised and sending authorised to the panel beaters. If client is not happy with current service provider, will contact assessor to amend the report and send authorisation to panel beaters.  Costing claims. IMPORTANT ALWAYS.  Captured Non Driveable Claims  Arranged towing for clients when needed Was a team player in the team.  Made payments to service provider when needed.  Updating client when claims take time.
