I anchored two food special editions of "Lounge" (Sep 2010 & Aug 2011). I also wrote on subjects such as sports, books, travel and television. Since Februaury 2011, I also anchored and edited the Life Wire series, which focuses on real-life extraordinary stories. I reported for the series as well as commissioned stories, rewrote and edited them. A major part of my responsibilities was overseeing the production process—liaising with columnists and contributors; coordinating between the various bureaus and departments and managing the work flow between Lounge’s writers, designers and the desk. Given Mint’s focus on multi-media content, I also produced some videos, mostly related to food stories, for livemint.com. Prior to this, I was a copyeditor on the features desk at Mint from May 2008, where I was primarily responsible for extensive fact-checking, copyediting and proofreading feature stories. The job involved coordinating with the reporters, columnists and the design team. Show less
