I worked closely with Amri for 2 years. Amri is a go-getter with immense potential and dedication. When Amri started working at Khan Academy India, we had a single major donor, no philanthropy strategy, and few donor prospects. Amri identified prospects, pitched Khan Academy programs, and built strong relationships, which led to multi-year CSR commitments totaling ~USD $5 million. Amri has an eye for detail, too, which I’ve found to be rare amongst philanthropy professionals who tend to focus on the ‘big picture.’ Amri led the charge during two grant compliance audits, which included a high degree of scrutiny of performance metrics and benchmarks in carrying out Khan Academy’s educational programs. I highly recommend Amri for any role she is interested in.

I feel lucky to have had a chance to work with Amri. She is a powerhouse in creating things from scratch through her incredible hustle, big picture vision and an ability to carry everyone along with her. At Khan Academy India, Amri led the philanthropy effort that has created a multi-year runway for us. On a personal front, I have and I know everyone who has had a chance to work with her has been inspired and transformed in some way.
