1-Maintain Safety and security Mechanism aspires to promote compliance to traffic laws and safety regulations among Population under my AoR through orientation sessions and public media briefings with follow through my officers’ presence in Main roads aiming to decrease Road safety incidents under my AoR. 2-Maintain close coordination with different integrated units involved in Road safety and Law enforcement in Alexandria Sea Port and related areas to maintain a coherent coordination over clients using the Port Categories. 3-Oversee development and update of the annual strategic-integrated work plan of Alexandria Main sea Port in all matters Related to traffic control and transport security; Maintain follow up and review mechanisms to develop lessons learnt. 4-Review and update the Main Leadership of the Port as part of the Governorate senior Management with statistics of Licenses/authorizations issued for the Port clients, 5-Maintain regular campaigns of road safety and security inspections among Port daily users to ensure compliance to safety and security rules and identify possible breaches/troubles. 6-Respond in crisis situations related to Major safety and security traffic accidents, oversee technical traffic investigations And provide fact finding reports to the hierarchy and involved governorate authorities; 7-Oversee detective activities of Criminal investigation office for traffic police in cases related to stolen vehicles, falsified Driving/property licenses, permissions and authorizations; Maintain coordination line with supportive units and stakeholders From both Police and governorate parties to support fact finding and uncover the criminal activities targeted as appropriate; 8-Monitoring road works & direct or divert traffic circulations 9-Monitor the performance of officers and sub-officers under my command, produce evaluation reports annually and take Necessary corrective measure to improve the work level if required.
