I have been working with Amr for more than 2 years now as we started in BRF around the same time. I joined BRF MENA as the category manager for the value added products – a few months after I started we finally got the license to sell the value added products from our newly built Abu Dhabi factory to Saudi Arabia, market that Amr just started heading at the time. We worked hand in hand with Amr and his team on all fronts, and managed after 3 months to double our market share to the highest ever one in history for the value added category in Saudi Arabia. This kind of seamless collaboration between marketing and commercial teams is what Amr has been embodying, and I have no doubt that in his new role heading the commercial agenda for the whole GCC region he will do as great a job as he is always eager to win!
