Danny is able to see the big picture for any problem he's working on. He has a deep understanding of what a client wants vs. what they need and is able to articulate the difference in simple, straightforward terms. He has an uncanny ability to whip up well-written strategic thought in a heartbeat, weaving his knowledge of culture, technology, and design into seamless, thought-provoking prose. His ideas are always insightful, and even better, they're actually useful. He's the most strategically-sound person I've ever worked with and comes with my highest recommendation.

Lindsay Wenner

Danny has an amazing ability to listen and really understand any problem or challenge that is in front of him - whether that's a client, or just something he sees in the world - and then come up with an innovative solution that not only answers the challenge, but makes the brand or idea better than before. His skill set is far greater than a list of words can really capture. He is a true innovator, a dedicated partner and an entrepreneurial inspiration.

Paloma M. Vazquez

Danny is in possession of a very talented, creative and innovative mind. He understands technology - what's emerging and available - and more importantly, knows how to use and iterate on technology to solve very human problems (for individuals or for a brand) in original, engaging ways. He's passionate, clear and direct - and refreshingly lacks the smoke and mirrors so prevalent in this industry. I'd recommend Danny to anyone that truly wants an innovative business idea - not just an ad.

We enable companies to unlock new revenue streams and increase operational efficiency by building groundbreaking products and co-creating new ventures 2x faster than internal teams alone. Our Principles: → Done is better than perfect: Until it’s tangible, it’s an idea not a business. → Crawl, walk, run: Build small. Grow nimbly. Pivot when necessary. Achieve scale. → Our clients should outgrow us: We help our clients become independent and self-sufficient. Our Launchpad services offers highly performant, conversion-focused websites delivered in as little as 2 weeks: CountdownInitiated.com. By 2021, video is expected to account for 80+% of all internet traffic. That’s not just media and entertainment. Video encompasses personal & corporate security, telemedicine, defense, and more. But video is both expensive and complex to operate at this scale. At SEER, we view video as the creative medium of the future. With that belief as a first principal, we're building modern video tools designed to empower artists and creators to connect with their fans. We believe that, by elevating the technology and tools available in the video space, we can embolden the creative spirit for artists and creators around the world. I am a founding team member at SEER where I run our Product efforts (inclusive of Design). Show less

Design Sprint Consultants was founded as a means to bring Design Sprints, a fast-paced discovery and validation process, to a broader variety of companies. We focus on helping our clients conduct Design Sprints, Immersion Days, and Design Thinking Workshops as a means to develop and test new products & services and big ideas — quickly. Our team specializes in guiding clients through the Design Sprint framework while removing the burden of planning and training for the process. We’re also available to design and conduct Immersion Day and Design Thinking workshops. I have personally planned and led Design Sprints, Design Thinking Workshops, and Immersion Day sessions for companies including: Legendary Pictures, GT Channel, American Express, Getty Images, ImageBrief, Tauck World Travel, Jagermesiter, and Zurich Insurance. I am an experienced moderator capable of leading a team through the sprint process to solve product, brand, and business problems. Show less

During my time at Tagasauris, we were focused on building an A.I. platform (utilizing computer vision, NLP, machine learning, and human-assisted computation) that generates and documents metadata throughout video content. In essence, doing for video what Google did for HTML pages. My role at Tagasauris straddled the line between Product Management and Product Design. Part of my time was spent working with our engineering and data science team to prioritize and manage development of our core technology platform, strategizing how that platform would come to life, and determining what it could do both for Tagasauris and for our Partners. The remainder of my time was spent designing interfaces and applications that would give people the opportunity to interact with video content in new and unique ways. Show less

I Wanna Nom was a side-project that we designed as a "reinvention of the cookbook for the digital space." Capable of saving delicious imagery and the corresponding recipe from any website, the platform allowed users to find recipes, keep them all in one place, and share them quickly & easily. We grew I Wanna Nom to include thousands of users worldwide before Pinterest came along and ate our lunch (pun thoroughly intended). Advertising agencies and brands are running scared. They're being forced to seek out alternative means of engaging consumers because their excessive marketing habits of the past have been rendered obsolete, both by technology and by lack of consumer interest. Face it, no one wants to be advertised to. But for many, this movement isn't just some new fad to control costs during troubled times. The best marketing has always come from creating something valuable and useful. People gravitate towards, and like talking about, simple, valuable and entertaining interactions. They're willing to forgive (and even embrace) branded messages that come with them. Forget thinking big. It's time to think small. It's time to embrace the art of simple, smart and social. It's time to stop creating advertisements and start creating useful things that advertise. This class explored these ideas through a series of discussions and hands-on assignments designed to break through the constraints of traditional mediums. It aimed to demonstrate that, by embracing the digital toolkit and focusing on being nimble, effective communication can be executed more efficiently and with greater impact than the clutter that's prevalent today. Beyond Madison Avenue was created in September 2005 as an outlet for a few select writers to share their insights on branding and strategy, marketing and advertising, and traditional & innovative media opportunities. I started writing for Beyond Madison Avenue at its inception and served as Editor from September 2006 to November 2007. Regularly ranked among the top 70 media and marketing blogs, under my guidance, BMA grew to include its own podcast, and was voted the Most Valuable Blog ahead of prominent challengers such as Seth Godin and Wired Magazine.
