For the past four years I have been doing photography/Design for clients, friends, and family. This taught me about working with many types of people, trying to find how to adapt my photography and design to what they were really looking for. It also taught me to think on my feet, coming up with solutions to problems that I didn’t have to think, but just to act on my instincts. Dealing with clients, working to a brief gave me the professional experience which has really helped me through the years, allowing me to work both in a formal and informal manner to fulfil the brief.

One year at Centrica has given me an abundance of knowledge and experience. Predominantly my role was a Web Developer but working with my team (Services in Digital), I worked with all areas; from BA (Business Analysist) to UX (User Experience) and PO (Product Owner). In doing this I could see how a commercial organisation works. I was also able to push projects live into production, working to a customer’s perspective and bringing value to the company. All whilst working with Agile working methodologies to shorten the feedback loop saving hours of meetings.
