Using the same feature helped the customers get on to the new tech stack. This helped the group to reduce churn & increase the customer base by 5%. • Was solely responsible for technical design and architecture to serve the free websites without having to buy the domain. This enabled the group to introduce a free plan, with the existing serving platform, without any additional cost. And thus, increased the customer base by 10%. • Not only came up with an idea to integrate with the 3rd party new age responsive web editor, to take our product on a level playing ground with our competitors, but also worked on the entire integration process & API framework creation with the 3rd party IMC editor. • Overlooked the design and implementation of the feature which provided the free SSL certificate support to all our websites as well as web-hosting customers. • Managed bi-weekly scrums. • While managing 10 engineers, worked towards to get rid of 20-year-old tech debt, by redesigning/re-writing major parts of the C/C++ code to Java & moving the platform from BSD to RHEL. • Conducted tech council reviews, final product demos at the org level & managed quarterly road-maps with the product & marketing teams. • Worked towards increasing code coverage by at least 3%, month over month, managed releases, managed hiring, performance evaluation, one on ones, career growth of the team. • Also, was involved in hands-on coding using Java/REST/Jetty/Spring, code-reviews, data modeling, 3rd party integration, maintenance, managing security bugs, production bugs, outages, production support, manual deployment of packages to over 500+ hosting production servers.
