In building out Guardian’s digital team I hired Amit to lead our social media program and help build Guardian’s digital presence from the ground up. She oversaw creative for Guardian’s corporate channels, managed a large enterprise content calendar, grew our audiences across channels, and triaged customer inquiries and complaints - never an easy task. Amit managed a heavy and often time sensitive workload with grace and a sense of urgency. It takes a critical set of skills to thrive in this environment. Amit possessed many of them: resilience, courage and creativity. She often had to be the enforcer of the corporate brand standard which doesn’t always make you popular at meetings. But she handled these conversations in a way that gained her the respect of colleagues that quickly got many teams on to the same page. She is an asset to any team and I would jump at the chance to work with her again.
