Along with going for Market surveys on the new products, fits, fabrics and then implementing in the Range accordingly. •Merchandise Operations Management, Sell Thru Analysis and Replenishment planning: Responsible for phasing stocks, sales,margins and markdowns for the categories. •Retail marketing /presentations: Work closely with the Marketing Department to aid and assist in creating hard-hitting, factual merchandise presentation in all forms of media. Make presentations to stores of new merchandise being added to the system. •Price Management and Markdown Planning: Review and analyze selling and inventory reports by article number to determine items which contribute to satisfactory stock turn; also understand markdowns for slow selling items. •Vendor Management and Development: Sourcing, development and constant negotiations are key work areas here. Also timely merchandise supplies, defects management and constant feedback to develop and grow. Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for future products. •Achievements : Men’s Department awarded for highest growth and best in product up gradation for year 2007-2008.
