Bhupinder S. Sran, PhD

I have had the opportunity to work with Dr. Sadrian as a colleague since 2013. He is one of the most capable, kind and supportive people I have had the opportunity know. His positivity, ingenuity and can-do attitude makes it a pleasure to work with him. He has been a leader among the faculty, serving for several years as a chairperson. In the absence of a dean for several months, Dr. Sadrian held the mantle for academics. He has shown an uncanny ability to lead and bring people together. Dr. Sadrian is also an excellent teacher. Even though I have been at DeVry much longer, I have adapted several approaches I have seen him use in his classes both onsite and online. He teaches some of most difficult subjects, such as statistics, but receives rave reviews from his students. Dr. Sadrian is the consummate team player and colleague. He has readily volunteered his time and expertise whenever his colleagues have asked. I have always been able to count on him to help out, even with last-minute requests. On many occasions, he has volunteered to be a guest lecturer in my classes to help the students hone their business and quantitative skills. These talks were greatly appreciated by the students and myself. I have really enjoyed working with Dr. Sadrian and hope to continue to do so for a long time to come. He is truly a gentleman and a scholar in every sense of those words.

Dr. Sadrian is a dynamic leader who inspires and motivates faculty and students. He has the rare ability to empower those he manages to discover their potential while also providing them with opportunities to achieve success. He is a coach and mentor who can bring people together to exceed goals and expectations due to his unique understanding of how to maximize the skills of others for their personal advancement and the continued growth of the university. His focus on helping students is exceptional—he addresses student concerns and offers solutions which reflect the best options for students. One of his best traits is his willingness to work through problems toward a solution with patience and understanding. With his commitment and dedication to excellence both as a leader, a teacher and a colleague, Amir Sadrian demonstrates the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
