  At Drydocks world, my responsibilities have been diverse. At times I have been involved in the Handover of newly constructed facilities at DMC at the same time maintaining the existing old Jadaf yard. Provide technical assistance to Real Estate Department for the modification repair and maintenance of leased properties and to Production Control Department for maintaining the yard and provide new solutions to improve the working conditions. Currently I am responsible for the new development as well as maintenance works in the under construction DMC Industrial precinct. My current projects include: Design and Installation of permanent Gates along with Chain link fence over the entire length of 3 KM along the boundary of the DMC Yard. Design a Temporary Sewage System for Phase-I Workshops and Warehouses (80 Nos.) Installation of new 10 Ton and 20 Ton Bullards with 2 Strong Points along Shiplift# 1 and Shiplift # 2. Maintenance and replacing of Fenders along the Wet Berths. Installation of network for supply of Fresh Water, Sea Water, Cooling Water to the Dry Berths 15 Nos. At Jadaf three types of maintenances are executed for the 40 Berths of Dock-I, 9 Berths of Dock-II, Control Rooms, Transfer bays, Yard Toilets, Roads, Office Buildings, Shops, Labor Accommodation, Sports Complex. 1. Preventive Maintenance. 2. Corrective Maintenance. 3. Breakdown Maintenance. Day to day routine includes preparation of estimates, drawing layouts and schedule the works. Order material and follow up for timely completion of assigned tasks. Maintain records in both hard and soft form. Extensive use of Mariner System for management of material and manpower for effectively monitor the project cost. Prepare Weekly and Monthly progress reports. Coordinate meetings with the higher management and arrange trainings for the labor. Show less
