The internship program lasted for 3 month in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at University College Hospital, Ibadan. During my course of training at the medical center, I was opportune to be able to apply the theoretical knowledge been gained in the class into a real life situation and also gained expertise in the handling of few medical equipment. Also, assisted in the regular preventive maintenance of medical equipment in different unit (e.g. intensive baby care and dental unit), diagnosing and testing of faulty medical equipment and Supported Engineers in the repairing of faulty hospital equipment by replacing some malfunctioning part so as to return it to normal functioning state.
