I assisted in research for various cases concerning the enforceability of ROCs, the elements of fraudulent concealment, and more. I assisted in drafting financial statements, statements of claim, and writs for cases of outstanding balances or outlying bills for TNB and more. I had the opportunity to witness the victorious conclusion of a court case and meetings with witnesses before their trial date. Worked with a reputable Malaysian firm for two weeks, where I had the opportunity to explore various practice areas through talks and hands-on assignments. Namely, I assisted in research regarding company and employment law to answer clients' queries and prepare for trial under the Litigation Department, participated in a meeting with a potential TMT client, and attended insight talks on different areas with their respective partners and associates: Corporate M/A and Projects & Construction.
