  • Managed and maintained C.A Spectrum Enterprise Network Monitoring System. • Configured SNMP agents on hundreds of different vendor devices to ensure visibility to all the appropriate alert traps on our network monitoring systems. • Imported and modified MIB files and added proper correlation to our event management components of our monitoring systems. • Tailored our event management system through specific rules which tied to our alert management component to fine tune severities & correlations for specific alert traps. • Implemented trend monitoring on eHealth "capacity trending" module for alerting on different anomalies for our data transit links with a variation of “mean” rules. • Ensured proper Network Security by mitigating a multitude of security risk assessments. • Vast knowledge of a multitude of EMS's and integrated Voice & Data switches to our monitoring systems. • Project Management and Process Development • Worked closely with our Engineers and our Network Operation groups to ensure visibility to all network elements and configured alerts depending on their requirements. • Technical Trainer - Trained all of our Shatel Global employees on C.A Spectrum Network Monitoring System to ensure pro-activeness instead of a re-active mentality towards customer outages . • Technical Writing - Created a multitude of training documents to facilitate proper alert etiquette.
