I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in data science with a focus on machine learning, Deep Learning and AI. My current thesis research is centered on AI and healthcare, involving time series analysis using deep learning methods. Through my studies, I gained a solid understanding of the fundamental concepts and advanced techniques of machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, text analytics, and NLP. I also acquired hands-on experience using Python to solve real-world problems in these fields. I have completed several projects and assignments that have allowed me to apply my skills to real-world datasets. I am confident that my skills and knowledge make me a valuable asset for any organization. Projects: • Statistical Inference vs Traditional ML methods | Machine Learning -II o Implemented MCMC, VI and Traditional ML Methods on datastes and found that Bayesian methods have overall performed at par and even better than ML methods. • Product Recommendation using RNNs | Deep Learning o Developed an RNN-based recommender system using LSTM. • Targeted Marketing | Machine Learning -I o Found customers who should be targeted and exposed only to advertisements to increase marketing efficiency. o A 96% reduction in the number of customers to be treated for commercials. • SPARK MLLIB VS APACHE MAHOUT | Big Data Analytics o Built a multicontainer application using docker to implement regression ML models on Spark (Pyspark)and Mahout on two separate containers. o Pyspark Mllib was found more than 1.5 times faster in fitting data and 6 times faster in predicting data than Mahout. • High Income Group Prediction | Machine Learning -I o The income group was predicted using classification ML models and ensemble methods with the best AUC ROC score and got the 1st position in the Kaggle competition. • House Price Prediction | Machine Learning -I o Predicted house prices using ML regression models with the least error.
