Hand selected as the Unit Training Program Manager to facilitate and manage training for all 81st members in upgrade training for 2T2X1’s. Additionally managing training records for all members, ancillary training and Enlisted Professional Military Education applications and completions ( i.e. Airman Leadership School, Non-Commissioned Officer Academy, Senior Non-Commissioned Officer Academy, etc). Unit Training Managers utilize Air Force training records to monitor progress, identify deficiencies, determine causes, recommend corrective action and provide counsel to assigned members. The 81st APS squadron is responsible for deploying trained personnel and serviceable equipment to provide augmentation or stand-alone aerial port operations at ports of embarkation/debarkation or unit-move locations. Obtained air transportation qualifications in less than 60 days. Job responsibilities and duties included cargo processing, aircraft loading/unloading, joint inspection, mobility functions, load-team supervision, engine running on loads/offloads and home station, deployed air terminal operations center, airlift control element, transportation control unit and air departure/ arrival control group operations. Additional responsibilities included the movement of people and cargo through passenger services, pallet built up, pallet loading and rolling stock loading on aircrafts through ramp services.
