Technical Assistance: • Assisting while handling the complaints/violations of the EIA Notification, 2006 read it with the Environmnet (Protection) Act, 1986. • Scrutinize the environmental clearance proposals as per EIA Notification, 2006 (amendments) and Office Memorandums before appraising by the SEAC, Maharashtra and before taking final decision by the SEIAA, Maharashtra. It includes all types of proposals which comes under purview of Maharashtra such as Construction projects, Mining, Power, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals, Distilleries, etc.• Study the environmental aspects while scrutinizing the proposals. • Preparing the draft Environmental Clearance letters as per minutes of the meeting2.
