Christopher Raeburn

Amelie worked at RÆBURN over the course of two years in the capacity of Digital & Communications coordinator until November 2021. During her time at RÆBURN I found Amelie to be incredibly professional, dynamic in her thinking and an exceptional team player. Daily tasks would range in their scale and Amelie was able to meet each with equal vigour but I would like to highlight her self-initiated community-facing activities to be of particular merit. Finally, amongst her myriad of skills I would highlight Amelie’s ability to work well alongside directors or junior team member alike as being of particular commendation. Amelie will be sorely missed at RÆBURN and I wish her well for her evolving career. Christopher RÆBURN

Roberta Lee

Amelie is an incredibly talented and hard working individual that exceeded my expectations. During her 6-month part-time internship with us she was incredibly reliable, committed and eager to learn. Amelie was able to develop her skills very quickly, and as a result naturally developed her role to take on more responsibility and coordinate more tasks with the wider team. She particularly shined with content creation for social media, the organisation, planning and the execution of campaigns played to her strengths, along with critical thinking when reviewing analytics and recommending future tactics. Amelie will be an asset to any organisation that is looking for an individual who thrives on autonomy, able to think outside of the box, and work effectively as part of a team.

My main role was to support the key project managers in the Global Product Marketing team but also to manage my own projects. These have included the inception and development of several Online Exclusives, the initiation and management of select Boutique exclusives in the form of coloured caps, and a limited edition cap for a leading UK retailer.I contributed at all stages of launch planning and development from early stage creative brainstorming, to financial planning, global forecasting and final point of sale execution. A 360 degree approach is taken with each project and so I gained exposure to Digital/Online, Social, Education, Visual Merchandising and PR. From the development side, each project has required me to work with Product Development, Packaging, Creative, Finance and Global Demand (forecasting) teams. Given the many stakeholders involved in each project, I furthered my project management skills, communication skills and interpersonal skills, successfully negotiating my way through to deliver successful programmes to time and to budget.

My position within the Product Management team allowed me to gain fantastic exposure of a luxury fashion company, allowing me to interact with various teams such as design and marketing, and driving my passion for the luxury industry. Product Management involved updating Range Grids and Range Map documents, as well as managing products in the internal product development system. My role regularly consisted of producing sales reports as well as weekly competitor analysis necessary for pricing decisions. I played a key part in creating publications for the Spring Summer and Autumn Winter 2016 collections, followed by supporting handover presentations e.g. overseeing the Models. I also conducted a special independent research project on personalisation services and techniques in the industry.

Over the course of a 9 month Trainee Leader Programme I took part in an Off-site Safety Management course, an Expedition First Aid Qualification and a Level 3 Certificate training in Basic Expedition Leadership (BEL) recognised through Sports Leaders UK. The training was in part executed in Namibia during a 6 week expedition where I co-led 12 young explorers. Due to the scientific research on local flora and fauna during the expedition, I also gained the John Muir (Explorer) Conservation Award. As one of the largest foreign Chambers in the UK, and the most active, I helped plan and execute the spring season events out of a total 70 annual events, where I took an active part in hosting members and guests. The day to day role involved writing, interviewing for and editing the chambers' publication LINK Magazine with around 80,000 readers annually. Other tasks included liaising with and recruiting new corporate members, content creation for social media and publications, and acting as front of house during office hours.A particularly notable project involved my contribution to an extensive consultation piece for one of Sweden's largest fashion retailers, aiding their UK entry strategy.
