Associate Director of Development

Sep 2011 - Jul 2015
I worked with alumni and friends of the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia to involve them in the life of the School through philanthropy, engagement, guest lectures, corporate involvement and more. Our team worked to leverage the McIntire network through building personal and meaningful connections among alumni and friends of the School to benefit the entire McIntire community. I helped alumni stay connected with one another through the powerful McIntire alumni network. We did this by facilitating introductions, organizing regional and city-specific events and small dinners, hosting alumni events on Grounds and meeting one-on-one with alumni to learn about specific needs and interests. I also focused on annual (unrestricted) giving to the McIntire Annual Fund which provided support to students, faculty and curriculum innovation. Show less
