This involved welcoming (virtually) 5 students to Lancaster University, and more specifically the Lancaster Environment Centre (LEC). I helped answer any queries they had and provided a friendly face to help them settle into the university setting. As part of HM Government Policy School, I worked with a team of four other students, and policy tutors to research and create a policy brief on 'Clean Growth'. The brief was then presented to Cabinet Office staff in London. Our brief focused on electric roads, and was awarded second place. This was an exciting experience which allowed for collaboration and innovation, as well as an insight into the world of policy and the public sector.
