  As Sales and Marketing Assistant one of my primary roles was to define and implement a marketing strategy for a new project, which I achieved through acting as a representative for the company through telemarketing and visiting clients door to door, with the goal of securing sales opportunities and increasing the company’s clientele. I also took on a creative role, including writing pedagogical materials to be used by the teachers at Language Connexion.   After discovering Native Youth through social media, I instantly emailed them asking for an internship placement that would allow me to learn more about managing a brand and the design process. Working in a small team, I helped out in any way I can, fulfilling tasks such as writing posts for the online blog, advertising the brand and it’s events on online listings, and using initiative to select outfits according to briefs from clientele. I particularly enjoyed this role as it allows me to exercise my creative muscle through my favourite means; writing, and the creation of visuals, be it outfits or photos for social media. Show less
