Pro-Pac Packaging Limited (ASX:PPG) is a national company, with a diversified distribution and manufacturing network throughout Australia. The company provides a vast array end to end solutions of products and packaging for a diverse range of customers and services. Within this parent company is a smaller division responsible for sourcing and selling home ware products to large retailers both here and overseas with clients in the US and UK as well as stocking over 300 retailers here in Australia. My key role and responsibilities include market analysis and trend forecasting, developing briefs and presentations to submit to clients, international travel to source manufactures and develop relationships to ensure developed lines are of a high standard, ethically produced and exceed customer expectations. I look after the process from sourcing and sampling products, to developing new and innovative ranges, liaising with factories to negotiate on specifications and pricing, costing and tendering the product out to client and managing the orders from pre-production through to meeting FOB cut off dates. My focus is on keeping up with the international market trends, the buying patterns of the Australian consumer and trends within the Australian retail market to ensure that my products are going to have a good sell rate for my customers. In my role here i have extended our client base to include customers from Europe, UK and USA and have exceeded both my budget and KPI's as well as exceeding customer expectations by ensuring that all their requirements are met on time, to specification and withing budget as well as developing strong relationships with suppliers is of the highest priority and a key reason for the success of this department and my role in it. My range includes but is not limited to tableware, serving ware, kitchenware and cookware and now have products supplied to over 2000 stores world wide.
