Lead Sales Associate

Oct 2017 - Jun 2018
I oversaw the delivery and processing of product. I worked extensively with Microsoft Excel to develop spreadsheets that would help organize and keep track of the large amount of product we had on hand. I worked with the new owners to develop a new database, using a platform called Knack, to organize our on hand product in store and create a catalog system for that product. I also helped to develop systems and new store procedures to ensure compliance with state laws and regulations and maximize efficiency and sales. I left in June due to a family health emergency. Lead Sales Associate

Jun 2015 - Dec 2016
During my time at Good Earth Inc. I gained invaluable customer service skills, inventory management skills, and had the opportunity to see and help a business develop from its near-opening days. As a sales associate I interacted with over 300 customers a day. As part of my duties I would pragmatically handle customer issues, providing solutions that benefited both the customer and the business. I was actively involved in the daily, weekly, and monthly inventory orders. I would keep track of what products sold well, at what prices, and ensured that the products we did carry matched the demand of our customer base. Over the course of my employment our monthly sales steadily grew and our customer reviews of our product selection was overwhelmingly positive. Show less

Wildlife Biologist/GIS Analyst
-
Sep 2014 - May 2015
I worked as a wildlife biologist on the Pumice Project for the Klamath National Forest Service. For this project I used GIS and fieldwork data to analyze possible effects of the project on wildlife species' habitat. I had two mentors - both biologists for the US Forest Service. I learned the various steps of project development and execution as well as the legal requirements for such projects. I also learned how to use GIS to analyze possible habitat effects and how to put those results in a report. I developed a NEPA Species Tracking Sheet and following the analysis I prepared a Management Indicator Species Report. Show less
