School of Sex Ed's approach is sex-positive, LGBTQIA+ inclusive and evidence-based. School of Sexuality Education was awarded the Pamela Sheridan Award for Innovation and Good Practice in RSE. The charity works with hundreds of schools and has reached thousands of young people across the UK. School of Sex Ed's staff and advisory board comprise of young people, qualified teachers, medical professionals and academics, to ensure our sex education programmes are relevant to young people's needs, and respond to the latest research around sexuality education. School of Sex Ed provides training for current and trainee teachers, including contributing to the delivery of an innovative, first-of-its-kind RSE PGCE course at UCL Institute of Education. CoachBright (www.coachbright.org) is an award-winning national social enterprise supporting the next generation to become independent and resilient so they can lead the lives they want. Working across schools, universities and organisations, CoachBright gives students and young professionals the tools and behaviours to succeed. As part of my role at CoachBright I launched a new South West arm to the social enterprise, and managed coaching programmes across Exeter, Birmingham and London. This included designing and delivering workshops to university students and school pupils; recruiting, training and co-ordinating university student volunteers; and creating and managing relationships with local schools.
