Amber has been an exceptional leader and ally for helping me and my team to develop strong and more thoughtful experiences. She has consulted with our design organization to add much-needed clarity and delivered a remarkable presentation for our community, which was experiential, fun, and engaging. Many thanks Amber!

I've been exposed to Design Thinking for a while, but it wasn't until I met Amber that it really made sense. All my experiences in the past were either not robust enough, or focused too much on the bigger thinking and failed to connect with the practicality in my every day life. Amber was able to not only demonstrate the value and usage of big thinking, but also connected the dots to make sure it is applicable and usable. Amber's high energy, positive disposition, and her ability to communicate complex ideas in an effective and relatable manner, helped me grasp all the concepts and understand how to use them. I've seen Amber facilitate a couple of sessions, and her work is amazing. She makes sure everyone understands what's going on and participates. Her explanations were concise and effective, but she elaborates and answers as many questions as needed by the group. She effectively works with co-facilitators, leading them in the task at hand, and allowing them to shine when they step up to the role. One of the sessions Amber facilitated was the IBM F.Act Summit, in partnership with AIGA, where she lead a two-day workshop for AIGA leaders to learn how to implement and facilitate Design Thinking workshops. There is definitely a before and after in the way I think, and I attribute it greatly to Amber's ability to facilitate and educate.

I developed global Outreach and Recruitment strategies focused on student population growth and new marketing channels. I focused on aligning the strategies across our pre-college, International, Industry, Military, and Career changers to maximize return across all channels. The college was struggling at the time to recruit, retain, and sustain success post graduation - and by unifying previously silo-ed channels and developing new channels we were able to decrease the cost of recruitment, scale our programming with new digital offerings developed to address the new channels, and attract new career partners interested in the new alumni graduating due to the new recruitment approach. My favorite part was grilling hamburgers and hot dogs for all of our new pre-college recruits and the outreach with AIGA, the worlds largest and oldest graphic arts association where I held an executive board role and made career connections for the college.
