  A 14-days orientation internship under supervision of Sebastian Kirsch. A first acquaintance with the museum, the way of working in the museum, organisation, etc. I worked on the viol project that was running in the museum at the moment. I researched different viols through x-ray images, UV photography, and more. I mapped out together with my classmate the previous restorations on the instruments and made documentation. I made also measurments of a Gand cello from the collection. Learning to look at, documenting and working with old instruments was the biggest learning lesson in the internship. Show less
