Complete monthly transfer pricing reviews. •Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations for multiple entities. •Assisting in the budget process. •Assisting in producing statutory accounts. Achievements: •Part of the IPO project to have Gartmore listed. The distribution team was involved in providing information to meet the deadline to have Gartmore listed in Dec 2009. •Gartmore went through a restructure in December 2008, where our team was cut from 4 people to 3. I took on additional responsibility for the retail products, merging my role from an institutional and alternatives accountant, to a distribution accountant covering all three-business areas. I streamlined the processes and managed my time efficiently to ensure all deadlines and month end tasks were completed on time. •Fully responsible for NAV package transition project. Working closing with Citi and HSBC, our fund administrators, to ensure a smooth transition from receiving monthly excel NAVS to obtaining them online. •When I joined Gartmore, the balance sheet had large unexplained liabilities on its Fund Manager Incentive accounts in excess of 10 million GBP, I took this as a challenge and reconciled each of our 30 funds month by month over 2005-2007 to the balance sheet account. The entries in the accounts now can be easily explained and reconciled when FMI payments are made. After the IPO, I further enhanced the reconciliation to show the deferred element of FMI payments in line with the FSA regulations. Show less
