Led a group of six Americorp volunteers on twelve, 10-day long hitches over two summers doing conservation work on public land around Wyoming. Worked with the USFS, BLM, Wyoming Game and Fish and Wyoming State Parks to complete necessary work for which the agency would not have had the man-power or funding to complete otherwise. Projects included backcountry trail construction and maintenance, construction of wildlife-friendly fencing, removal of dead or dying trees near trails, parking lots and campgrounds, and restoration of state historical structures.
