MSgt Amber Pitkin is a high standard leader that is able to instill those same standards onto her subordinates. Amber was my supervisor while I managed the mass notification system at Minot AFB. Under her supervision I was expected to handled the system with excellence, but at the same time I could rely on Amber to answer any questions I had and assist me if needed. She gave clear directions and suggested vectors to pursue, which allowed the program to grow beyond the bounds of what it would have if I was left to my own accord. I believe that her supervision is one of the reason I was successful in my role at Minot AFB. Amber Pitkin is a fantastic leader that is motivated to success and reliable, and I hope I meet more people like her in my future career paths.
