  Advocate for youth ages 11-17 and their families. Provide respite, safety, support and supervision in a shelter setting. Provide crisis call counseling, complete intake assessments, conduct educational groups, documentation and referrals. Maintain a safe environment which meets licensing standards. Ongoing training of new volunteers and student interns. Supervise student interns which includes goal setting, correcting field homework assignments, and weekly supervision meetings. Supervise back-up youth and family advocate staff (part-time staff), which includes conducting regular monthly meetings, regular individual supervision meetings, trainings and annual evaluations.
