    • Secondary Mathematics Teacher (Temporary Contract)
      • Jan 2018 - Jun 2018

Fulfilled a temporary contract for:• Math 10C, • Math 30-1, and • Math 20-3/30-3 split class. Math 10C and Math 30-1 were notepack-based courses taught as a school-wide collaborative (duties included resource updates and refinements). I augmented notepack instruction with daily do-now review activities, daily collaborative open-book quizzes, and alternative review activities (online quizzes, puzzle-based worksheets, peer-to-peer teaching opportunities, etc.). I created all curricular resources for Math 20-3/30-3 to accommodate the split-class scenario; this includes fill-in-the-blank and exemplar notes for small conference teaching, independent investigation guides with video links, online and paper assignments for formative assessments, project-based learning opportunities, and summative assessments. I have also created an online math website for all courses I teach, complete with class notes (templates and keys), a daily study journal with "big idea" summaries, and links to exterior resources.Extracurricular responsibilities included: • thrice-weekly tutorials before and after instructional hours, • weekly supervision, • a weekly boardgames club, and • supervision duties for one-off events (rock-a-thon, grad night, etc.).
