  • The Marketplace
    • Annandale, Minnesota
    • Cashier/ Service Desk/ Stocker
      • Jul 2010 - Jan 2013

Worked part-time at the local grocery store throughout High School as a Cashier, Service Desk attendant, Photo Developer, and a Stocker. Gained most of my customer service experience from my very first job! Worked as a Cashier memorizing produce numbers and running the registers, moved up to Service Desk where I answered and redirected phone calls, labeled and shipped UPS packages, counted and updated the Lottery, completing any helium balloon orders, and handled returns and exchanges as needed. I then learned how to develop photos from a disposable camera and would spend my down time at the service desk completing photo orders. My last learning experience with the Marketplace was learning how to stock and organize shelves and complete the daily and as needed cleaning, along with running carts and bringing groceries out to customers as needed. Overall a very fulfilling experience and excellent start to my career development!
