• Partner with middle school and high school communities in person in New York City and virtually across the United States to tackle the most critical work of improving learning for all students by implementing strategies, developing curriculum, integrating technology into instructional delivery, and co-creating school-wide structures and programming that closes equity gaps and leads to improvement of student outcomes. • Develop curriculum and learning experiences for a mixture of synchronous and asynchronous learning for both middle school and high school students and for teachers and school administrators. • Gather, analyze, and present data about specific assessment practices that are part of Teaching Matters programs as well as school specific programs, curriculum, and instruction in order to inform an open discussion about where and how the school will focus its improvement efforts with both teachers, teacher teams, and students. • Support school leaders and classroom teachers in strengthening literacy programs, integrating literacy and inclusion in social studies, incorporating restorative practices in classrooms and curriculum and analyzing data to strategically address student needs. • Beginning in 2020, collaborate with school leaders and ELA teams at four NYC DOE middle schools implementing a Gates Network for School Improvement Grant using improvement science methods and culturally responsive and sustaining methods working toward equitable outcomes for all students within a school community. • Co-presented at the 2021 Carnegie Summit sharing case studies of two schools where equity-driven tools were utilized, to illustrate the shifts that occurred in each stage of the continuous improvement process despite the variance in contexts.
