- Develop and implement a project providing administrative support to Marion County Public Health Department by serving as the liaison between the county and 60 local public schools. - Receive incoming calls from the county's dedicated K-12 schools contact center, personally logging confidential information on more than 1,000 local school cases into REDCap, to help the health department run statistical reports and make critical decisions. - Work closely with school nurses and administrators, implementing spreadsheets and surveys to increase productivity. - Conduct thorough and empathetic interviews with newly diagnosed COVID cases via phone call or home visit to collect valuable data on local COVID trends and provide service and assistance to individuals isolating. - Demonstrate an ability to work independently and multitask during case interviews by actively listening and recording information in real time into a CRM software. - Interfaced with local and statewide organizations to provide resources to our patients in need, such as housing, food, clothing, transportation, and utilities - Educate citizens of Marion County regarding vaccination procedures, public health policies, and appropriate disease intervention strategies. - Maintained HIPPA and FERPA standards in all communications and conversations.
