The Internet of Dongs Project (IoD) is a group of researchers investigating the security and privacy implications of the new generation of internet connected sex toys. As a Product Manager for the Secure, Composition Analysis (CA) team I worked to set the vision for a subset of our Application Security Testing (AST) tools that we make into the build and deploy process of the DevOps cycle. Specific ASTs I was responsible for were Dependency Scanning, License Compliance and Container Scanning. Responsible for validating new opportunities and setting one year goals that aligned with product and the organizations longer term goals. Prioritized work to balance technical debt, company programs, team priorities and bugs. Primary point of contact for internal and external presentations, questions and discussions around my AST scanners. I worked closely with marketing, sales and technical evangelist teams to enable my teams vision and work to be shared. Worked closely with Engineering and User Experience team members to validate, test, and break down work into minimal viable changes (MVC) in an agile work environment.
