I also managed the evaluation and documentation of the program for the grant. Youth on youth grows a collective of grassroots educators trained in an urban hip-hop pedagogy. This is a space where youth are encouraged to name the world in which they live in so they can reimagine and transform it. Show less

    • Website Intern
      • Jun 2017 - Jul 2017

The Garden of Hope is an NGO that provides safe green spaces for at-risk youth in Jocotenango, Guatemala. I created a website--using existing and new content in two languages (English and Spanish; translations with support from Garden of Hope staff)--to increase the reach of the organization, assisted with gardening classes, and worked in the garden in my spare time. I designed a cohesive and user-friendly sitemap that made the bilingual functioning easy. I learned a bit of programming to make the website as practical as possible for the organization. And I also planned a launch calendar and event to celebrate the new website. Show less
