Key Result Area:- •To prepare plans & ensure their execution with respect to : Uninterrupted power supply,Reduction in breakdowns,Energy conservation & Yearly maintenance schedule. •Ensure proper upkeep, timely maintenance & up gradation of utility equipments like electrical sub-stations, air compressor, UPS, ETP/ STP, H/Plants, water supply, chiller, air conditioners, buildings, roads and fire fighting installation. •Coordinate within the different engg. section like electrical, electronics, mechanical, civil, environment and between engineering and other departments like production, maintenance, commercial, HR & IR. •Carry out root cause analysis of various types of Engg. Problems suggest remedial actions and ensure implementation. •Monitor and control "Maintenance cost and Energy cost". •Carry out interaction with vendors for introducing new/ improved parts of the utility equipment & plant machinery. •Undertake technical up gradation and small projects in coordination with the section heads for making improvement in production process. •Implement new technical developments for reducing breakdowns, enhancing productivity and bringing energy efficiency. •Plan & organize erection of machines and availability of critical spares. •Monitor and maintain the building and road conditions. •Plan and follow up for construction of new buildings and modifications. •Suggest and implement the measures for improving efficient lighting •Analyze downtime of production machines due to Engg. service failures and take suitable corrective actions. •Carry out periodical audits. •finalize unit’s performance report, revenue and capital budget and ensure timely preparation. •Compliance of statutory obligations of various laws related to electricity, pollution, Municipal Corporation, explosives, boilers safety, etc. •Training needs of subordinates and arrange for imparting training to them in consultation with HR Dep’t. •To create safety awareness among staff and workmen.
