Much like my previous role, my experience as a bartender and server has truly highlighted that facilitating fantastic experiences for those in my care is a passion of mine. As a creative and lover of the many different art forms in life, bartending has quickly become another passion of mine, as it genuinely is its own form of art. From prepping to crafting cocktails unique to each guest, each step in the process is just as imperative and relevant as the next. Responsibilities in this role include maintaining a clean and functional space, restocking, prepping for the day and/or week ahead, personal cleanliness behind and in front of the bar, making connections with guests and personalizing their experience, facilitating excellent experiences, creative problem solving, communication with team members and guests, closing and opening duties, and more. This current experience is one I am excited to partake in each day, as no two shifts and no two guests are the same. Took on a variety of roles under one umbrella working directly alongside the CEO of a local (yet booming) vintage furniture restoration company and retail storefront offering a plethora of services. Said services are including but not limited to kitchen and furniture restoration/painting, personal vintage furniture shopping, interior decorating, retail shopping, DIY furniture painting classes, and more. My day to day looked like lots of content creation for social media sales/advertising, scouting for vintage furniture personal to each client, styling vintage decor, managing paid advertisements, updating sales channels, attending meetings with clients to book high-ticket sales, answering client messages on several platforms, purchasing vintage decor and furniture, making direct sales and managing the storefront. This experience truly broadened my skillset as I learned to juggle a vast amount of responsibilities at once having to do with a variety of categories. Ensuring client satisfaction and driving sales through captivating social media marketing was a very large part of the role, and one I was quickly able to excel in. I learned to anticipate the needs of our CEO and our clients before they got the chance to ask, which boosted the quality of the relationships I had the privilege of making. Show less
