Beginning as a part-time employee in grade school, my role has grown now a a full-time Administrative Assistant at a family-owned firm specializing in criminal defense and personal injury matters. I am responsible for a wide range of tasks, including prospective case risk analysis, discovery research, document drafting, trial assistance, accounts receivable and other clerical duties. In addition, I actively work improve daily team processes and efficiency through recommendation and implementation of management information software (MIS) where I am also tasked to train our team on new software. During law school, I work at the firm part time, as needed.

As a Launch Services Program Planning Office Intern, I worked primarily within the Education Department in the areas of documentation, community outreach, and strategic planning. I led a small cross-functional intern team comprised of interns from the Finance and Procurement offices on employee information improvements and updates through SharePoint updates and a new organizational floor plan. As a Project Manager, I managed an intern team on the design of an educational product for youth interested in STEM. Lastly, I was able to serve on a Institutional Engagement (I.E.) Network team to improve inter-office employee relations within our organization through brainstorming H.R. solutions. My work led to my being nominated 2015 Kennedy Space Center "Intern of the Year".
