I had the pleasure of working with Amar as his trainer with respect to his communicator role in conducting Pharmacovigilence for our client. It was here that I trained Amar in the client approved processes, procedures and regulations pertaining to the appropriate methodology for capturing adverse event information, to generate safety reports that would then be forwarded for clinical review. It was in this experience that I was able to take notice of Amar’s tremendous skillset. I was able to see how Amar quickly proved to be one of the champions of his class, quickly mastering the conceptual undertakings of the position as well as asking detailed oriented questions to further not only his understanding but also, the understanding of the collective. Amar soon began serving as a valuable resource for his peers due to his mastery over the information. Amar’s performance further supported his prowess as he quickly became one of the most skilled and highly proficient communicators. This is exemplified by the fact that Amar was selected by his supervisors to serve as a preceptor/mentor figure to serve as a model for exemplary performance in the position.
