I met Amandeep while working in the micro mechanical specialist company, Sonion. Amandeep was responsible for the development of 3D printed models in the departments technical lab. Im my work, i needed quick response and high quality, and it became evident that Amandeep was the "go to" when things needed extra attention. Novo’s subsidiary Sonion is a global leader in design of advanced miniature components and solutions for hearing instruments and advanced acoustics. My job is divided in two parts; first I handle the IT Support System within the company and other I have to operate two high level 3D Printers for prototyping. I am only one in the company who can run these printers. --IT Support-- -Installing new systems for all employees -Providing training for all users -Repairing and upgrading hardware and ensuring all computers were fully operational -Creating and maintaining accurate database of all pending and resolved IT issues -Running diagnostic checks and servicing essential IT hardware -Explaining complex IT issues to non-technical employees --3D Printing-- -Operate high quality printers ( Projet 3000 HD Plus and Envisiontec prefatory) -Monitors all processes involved in 3D printer design, development and implementation. -Supervises the manufacturing process of 3D printing and makes recommendations on improvements. -Answers complex questions related to 3D printing applications and principles. -Presents ideas on methods to improve processing, and visibility of 3D Printing. -Trains others on 3D printing equipment resolution, (e.g. adjusting build size, to meet precision requirements). -Directs the design and application of 3D printing CAD software.
