To Whom It May Concern: I worked directly with Amanda Ward for approximately 2.5 years at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in the research lab led by Dr. Thomas MacVittie. Amanda worked with me largely in the area of medical imaging and interpretation, and also served as a study coordinator during part of that time. Amanda has a strong work ethic, is self-motivated and is genuinely interested in learning as much as she can with respect to her work. She takes initiative on her own to seek out information that pertains to her workscope in the lab. She has experience in anatomic necropsy, histopathology, GLP, large animal handling/care, CT scan acquisition/interpretation and database management. Amanda is especially adept with computers and networking, and she has excellent organizational skills. I enjoyed working with Amanda and she would be an asset to any laboratory. Please feel free to contact me regarding this letter of recommendation or to discuss her experience in further detail. Sincerely, Michael Garofalo, M.D.
