We've all done networking and been thoroughly disappointed that despite maintaining consistent attendance you either never get to meet decision makers or the decision makers in bigger businesses. As you can tell from my name I'm in BNI and I have had great referral business from that. But I want to be fishing in a bigger pool with bigger fish in order to grow NGM Accountants strategically. And that's where Thrive Networking has its main difference with everyone else. It let's me do that. You still have to work at it, build relationships and do all of the right things. But every month I get to meet bigger fish. NGM Accountants has been a member if Thrive Networking for over 2 years now and we see it as integral to our networking strategy and when you add in the business development training too, what's not to love? Thank you Amanda for doing all the heavy lifting. Not only are you the brains behind this and secure great visiting speakers and new members but you also share your own Networking skills freely with us. Looking forward as always to the next event where my business can continue to Thrive Bests John Director, NGM Accountants

I have been privileged to know Amanda for a number of years and to participate as a member of her 'Thrive Networking' community. The number and quality of new customer opportunities that our business has been introduced to as a result of Amanda's efforts has been quite wonderful. Amanda is a consummate professional and I am utterly delighted to make this recommendation.

I've had the pleasure of working with Amanda for I guess 10 years now. I've tested lots of networking opportunities for my business, which helps employers to negotiate insured employee benefits, and I can say without hesitation that Amanda’s approach, her format, and her infectious positivity are unparalleled. She is simply the best facilitator of B2B networking events and I would encourage anyone who wants to meet decision makers in a focused but relaxed working environment to experience Thrive first hand. Thrive continues to be a great way for Fulcrum to meet new customers, and also for us to benefit from making very helpful connections with people who can help our business.

Thrive is Edinburgh's leading B2B membership organisation for professionals in Scotland with a focus on Property, Hospitality and Professional Services. My ethos is to provide tangible, results driven networking. I do this by ensuring introductions to potential clients, referral partners and enabling relevant relationships. This is achieved by booking high calibre VIP speakers, resourcing the club with appropriate Visitors and facilitating the breakfast meetings so that everyone is made to feel comfortable to do business. Thrive takes the work out of networking - so all you have to do is show up and follow through. And it's fun!Why Join Thrive? My focus was to seek out and win IT support contracts from Scottish SME's, typically organisations from 5-100 pc's in size. This role incorporated the whole sales cycle from lead generation, relationship building and closing. Working directly with the MD, I made sure all aspects of the office ran smoothly. I was also involved in some account management and pitching for new business.
