      • Jun 2019 - Present

I rejoined Sempervirens Fund to continue sharing my passion for protecting the outdoors through the Tribute and Legacy Giving Programs. I hope to help people deepen their connection to redwood lands in the Santa Cruz Mountains and inspire them to share this connection with future generations. This position is remote. I use my time to play and explore the balance of colors, shapes and textures found in nature particularly relating to birds. My mixed media techniques are inspired from the beauty I find in everyday objects such as leaves and rocks and from the everyday actions of the birds I observe. I am often captivated by birds in my own backyard and from new sightings. My paintings reflect their exuberance and whimsical nature. Leading nature lovers under the redwoods offering the right naming opportunities to honor special people, places or events. My role at Sempervirens Fund began as an office manager and moved into fundraising a year later to become the Development Associate. I worked in special events, with volunteers, and donor relations. After a couple years I had the opportunity to become the Tribute Program Manager. This role further developed into an opportunity to share redwoods conservation.
