Amanda was a very valuable contributor to the Hingham Patch news site. She was not only an excellent writer but she was very personable with the Hingham community. On top of that, she would rise to the occasion when given very difficult tasks- For example- When a high school teen was killed in an accident in June of 2011, Amanda was asked to get reactions from students shortly after his death. Amanda was able to write a very touching story on short-notice about how his class mates lifted their wind shield wipers in memory of the victim, who was known as a prankster around the school. Overall Amanda is very hardworking, she is punctual and on time and she is very easy to get along with!
