Core Home focuses on designing everyday home accessories and distributing to businesses across the globe. My purpose as Production Coordinator is to be the baseline communicator for key departments involved in a production project, such as the Product Development, Design, and Account Management teams, as well as the factories that create our goods. I facilitate the communication and maintain the relationships.Other key responsibilities include doing in-depth research on the history costs of goods previously ordered and current market value before we place a new order so that I’m able to negotiate pricing with the factories and ensure we’re meeting company budget and goals. I also work closely with our data control team to ensure databases are up to date with this research. Once this is complete, I place order requests to factories and oversee production until orders are handed over to our booking team for shipment. As I’m responsible for the turnover of an order, I must keep track of factory schedules, purchase order schedules, and customer schedules to ensure deadlines are adhered to. Show less

    • Operations Representative
      • Oct 2019 - Nov 2022

Core Home focuses on designing everyday home accessories and distributing to businesses across the globe. Fresh out of college, I came in as an entry-level Operations Representative for the company’s small business accounts. Initially, I was only responsible for several dozen, which quickly increased to over 100. Throughout my three years in this position, I remained the sole handler of these accounts, while also becoming the Operations Representative for larger, more notable accounts such as L.L. Bean, Aeropostale, At Home, Menards, Crate & Barrel, and sales agency groups throughout the U.S. and Canada. This position required I work closely with the company’s account managers to ensure account expectations and deadlines were met. I was also responsible for reviewing and adhering to each account’s routing and vendor guides, investigating and disputing chargebacks, processing orders, communicating account expectations to third-party warehouses, and critically thinking to resolve issues.Due to how quickly the number of small business accounts grew for me to oversee, I came up with several different manual processes, and worked alongside the EDI team to come up with systematic processes for accounts that are still used today. A typical day at Agentry consisted of sample trafficking, organizing and merchandising the showroom, assisting stylists with pull requests, contacting stylists for overdue items, and inputting new samples onto their database. A not so typical day consisted of attending unique events such as New York Fashion Week shows where my responsibilities were to check-in guests for seasonal presentations and fashion shows, set up venues for fashion shows, put together gift bags, and ensure guests were guided to their assigned seats. I assisted fashion week events for brands such as Land of Distraction, Laurence & Chico, and Christian Siriano. Show less

The Bradford group successfully introduced me to the world of PR by giving me hands-on work such as drafting press releases and pitch letters, creating fact sheets, organizing and creating new media lists, and organizing press clippings into monthly PowerPoint's that were sent out to clients.
